Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and policies that shall apply to the cleaning services provided by Your Clean Routine, LLC (also referred to herein as “Company”). By agreeing to your personalized estimate and receiving any cleaning services, you are agreeing to all of the terms outlined herein:
Hours of Operation
Cleaning Hours. Cleaning services will be performed Monday – Friday, between 8:00am to 6:00pm, with occasional weekends and evenings as designed by Company. Services outside of these hours may be available with sufficient notice.
Phone Hours. Company business hours shall range from M-F 8am-7:30pm | Sat 9am-5pm , with occasional weekends and evenings. In the event that Client is unable to reach Company via telephone, Client may leave a voice mail or text message.
Holidays. Company observes the following holidays: (i) New Year’s Day, (ii) Memorial Day, (iii) Independence Day, (iv) Labor Day, (v) Thanksgiving, (vi) Christmas Eve, (vii) Christmas Day, and (viii) New Year’s Eve. Should a scheduled cleaning fall on one of the aforementioned holidays, Company shall contact Client, at least one (1) week prior to the scheduled cleaning date, in order to reschedule. Should Client desire to retain Company’s services on any of the observed holidays, such may be available for an additional charge. Please contact Company in order to discuss this option, as fees will vary.
Weather/Acts of God. In any case where Company is required to perform services and delays are caused by or resulting from Acts of God, severe weather, war, civil commotion, fire or other casualty, labor difficulties, shortages of labor, materials or equipment, government regulations, or other causes beyond such party’s reasonable control occur, Company shall not be required to perform the assigned cleaning services, nor shall it be held liable for the cancellation of such services. Company shall do its best to reschedule Client’s service for a mutually beneficial time.
Payments and Cancellations
Payment Due. Payment shall be due on the day of each scheduled service, after the cleaning is completed. Method of payment shall only be by credit card. No cash or checks will be accepted.
Late Fees. In the event that Client should fail to pay the service fee within Client’s personalized estimate on the specified due date, Client shall forfeit their contract & full payment of remaining balance will be required within fifteen (15) days from Client’s receipt of same.
Cancellation Policy.
First-time/One-Time Services. Once a first-time or one-time service is secured and paid for, Client may reschedule the service date one (1) time at no charge, so long as Client provides at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to Company. Should Client cancel the service prior to the scheduled service date, a fifty-dollar ($50.00) non-refundable fee will be retained by Company and the remaining balance will be refunded to Client. In the event that Client’s notice of cancelation is provided to Company less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled service date, any and all funds secured and paid for by Client in advance shall not be refunded.
Recurring Cleanings. For recurring scheduled cleanings, Company requires a twenty-four (24) hour rescheduling notice. In the event that Client reschedules cleaning services with less than 24 hours’ notice, a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) will be charged to the Client. In the event that cleaning services are rescheduled three (3) times, Company will discuss with Client a more suitable time slot to perform the requested services, or the Client may lose their time slot.
Estimates
Personalized Estimates. Any details that are specific to Client’s property will be discussed during the initial consultation and will be outlined in Client’s personalized estimate.
Extended Time Between Cleanings. Should more than five (5) weeks pass from the date of Client’s last cleaning, the fee discussed in Client’s estimate may change for the next cleaning and a new assessment may be required. Any and all assessments or changes to previously provided personalized estimates for Client’s property may be completed at Company’s discretion.
Cleaning Guidelines
Lockout Policy. If Company Staff cannot access the property, they will contact Client and wait up to fifteen (15) minutes. If entry is still not possible, Staff will leave, and 50% of the service fee will be charged to Client.
Alarms. If Staff enter the service location with Client permission and an alarm is triggered, they will attempt to contact the Client. If the Client cannot be reached, Staff will lock up and leave, and a $50.00 fee will be charged. Company, nor any of its affiliates are not liable for any alarm related charges.
Faulty/Improper Installation. Client acknowledges and understands that Company Staff shall not be held liable for any damage caused to any personal or commercial property, whether caused by pre-existing fault or improper installation or by Company staff during cleaning. In the event that Company Staff notices any item is improperly installed, Company Staff shall clean around it.
Pets. Clients pets must be secured in a crate or closed room clearly marked as off-limits to Staff. This is especially important if Staff will be on the property without the Client present. If a pet is not secured and escapes through an open door or window, Company and its affiliates shall not be liable. If a pet bites or injures Staff, Client shall be held liable for any and all resulting damages, including medical expenses.
Bodily Fluids and Pet Waste. Client must dispose of any items containing bodily fluid before Staff arrival, as Staff will not touch or clean such items and will only clean around them. If Staff chooses to clean any such item, additional fees start at one-hundred dollars ($100.00). Staff will not clean up pet waste or pet care items, including litter boxes.
Illness. If anyone in the property is sick, particularly with an infectious disease, Client must notify Company or Staff before service. Cleaning will be rescheduled at least two weeks after illness subsides. Staff may still be exposed to illness despite standard cleaning and disinfection.
Allergies. Client must disclose allergies or medical conditions during the initial consultation. Any accommodations, including use of the Client’s vacuum or preferred cleaning products, will be noted in the personalized estimate and followed by Staff. Company is not liable for any allergic reactions or medical issues arising after cleaning.
Valuable Items, Dangerous Items, Sensitive or Confidential Information. Client must secure valuables (jewelry, cash, etc.), dangerous items (firearms, knives), and sensitive documents, prior to Staff’s arrival at the service location. Staff will not touch or move unsecured items. Company is not liable for loss or damage to these items.
Delicate, Fragile or Irreplaceable Items. Client is responsible for relocating any delicate, fragile, or irreplaceable items prior to the scheduled cleaning. Company staff will not handle or move such items. Client must inform Company of these items before the scheduled service, and Company shall no be liable for any damage to items cleaned without prior notice.
Delicate Surfaces. Surfaces requiring special care must be disclosed during the initial consultation and included in the personalized estimate. Staff will follow the specified protocol, so long as such is reasonable. Company shall not be held liable for damage to such surfaces if protocol is followed.
Safely Reaching and Lifting. Staff shall not reach or climb beyond a two-step stool or lift heavy items or furniture for their safety.
Preferred Cleaning Products. If a Client prefers a special cleaning product, Client must be disclose this preference during the initial consultation. Any approved product preference will be documented in the personalized estimate and followed by Company staff. Company and its officers, directors, members, partners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, medical reaction, sensitivity, or damage to any person, surface, or item at the service location resulting from the use of either preferred or non-preferred cleaning products.
Used Medical Devices. Client must dispose of exposed or used medical devises (e.g. syringes) prior to service. Staff will not handle or dispose of these items.
Drug Use, Paraphernalia or Other Illegal Activity. If drug use, paraphernalia or other illegal activity is observed at service location, Staff will leave immediately, no refund will be issued, and future services may be discontinued.
Clutter. Client must clear surfaces to be cleaned. Staff will clean around items or skip the area if blocked.
Linens, Trash, Dishes.
- Linens: replacement linens must be provided.
- Trash: emptying trash cans is generally not included; Staff may do so at their discretion.
- Dishes: staff will clean around dishes. Dishwashing is not included unless requested and charged separately
Additional Cleaning Services. Requests for additional services must be made directly to Company and cannot be accepted by Staff.
Accidental Damages and Quality Satisfaction
Damage/Breakage. Company staff will exercise reasonable care and respect when handling the Client’s personal item; however, accidents may occur. If a non-exempt item (as defined in these policies) is broken or damaged during service, staff will notify the Client immediately. Company will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace the item. If repair or replacement is not possible, Company will offer a mutually agreed-upon monetary amount for replacement. Any damage discovered after service must be reported to Company within twenty-four (24) hours. Company shall not be liable for any damage reported after this time period.
Excellent Quality Satisfaction. Company is committed to providing excellent service and ensuring Client satisfaction. If any portion of the service does not meet the Client’s expectations, the Client must notify Company within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion. Company will make reasonable efforts to address the issue. Notices received after the twenty-four (24) hour period will not be eligible for service adjustments.
Free Re-Clean Guarantee. Company may offer a free re-clean for deep cleaning and move-in cleaning services. To qualify, Client must send clear photos of any missed or unsatisfactory areas within forty-eight (48) hours after the service is completed. If photos are not provided within this time, the free re-clean guarantee is void.
By agreeing to your personalized estimate and receiving any cleaning or organizing services, you are agreeing to all policies and terms that have been outlined above.
